Event Description

International Week of the Deaf is observed annually by the United Nations and World Federation of the Deaf and is a global initiative advocating for the rights and inclusion of the deaf community. Culminating on the last Sunday of September, the week promotes awareness and understanding of the highly diverse deaf community, deaf culture and key themes and issues.
