Clementine Chang

Clementine Chang is an architect practicing at the internationally recognized KPMB Architects. With two decades of experience in projects of varying scales and typologies, she offers a wide range of experience in developer, public sector and academic projects, including the TIFF Bell Lightbox, the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto, and the Julis Romo Rabinowitz Building at Princeton University.

Most notably, Clementine’s performing arts portfolio is extensive. It includes the award-winning Massey Hall Revitalization Project, which she considers a career highlight as it combines her expertise in heritage architecture and her love of the performing arts. Her portfolio also includes the Royal Conservatory TELUS Centre, the Young Centre for the Performing Arts, and the Adams Center for Musical Arts at Yale University. Recently, she was the project architect leading the design efforts for two new theatres as part of the expansion and modernization of Calgary’s Arts Commons, the largest performing arts centre in Western Canada. Currently, she is the senior associate-in-charge of a new Dramatic Arts Building at Yale University which will include the new Yale Repertory Theatre.

A classically trained pianist, Clementine is passionate about the arts and channels her passion into designing projects for their performance. Her daughter is a proud Branksome Hall student in the Junior School.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.*

*The Land Acknowledgement may evolve as we honour our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation in partnership with Indigenous communities.

Setting the new standard for girls' education everywhere takes collective action. From all of us.
