Branksome Hall Wins International Marketing Awards for Make Way Campaign

Branksome Hall is delighted to share that its Advancement and Community Engagement team has won three InspirED School Marketers Brilliance Awards – the only international competition that recognizes excellence in private and independent school marketing and communications.
The entries were judged by a volunteer panel of 88 marketing experts from around the world who are professionals in private schools or businesses that specialize in private school marketing. The entries are scored on originality, persuasiveness, copy/script/dialog, visual elements, execution and overall appeal.

Branksome’s Winning Entries:
GOLD: Paid Advertising — “Make Way” Admissions Advertising Campaign
GOLD: Special Event — Welcome Back & “Make Way” Campaign Launch (September 2023)
SILVER: Fundraising Video, Outsourced — “Make Way” Campaign Video

“This $30-million Make Way campaign, set to transform the face of girls' education in Canada, is the most ambitious in our 120-year history," says Cris Coraggio, Executive Director, Advancement & Community Engagement. “It's gratifying that the judges have recognized our campaign creative as innovative and original. Our goal is to awaken those very attributes in our students today, so they can shatter the glass ceilings in the STEM- and entrepreneurial-driven workplaces of tomorrow.”

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.*

*The Land Acknowledgement may evolve as we honour our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation in partnership with Indigenous communities.

Setting the new standard for girls' education everywhere takes collective action. From all of us.
