Grade 10 Academics

Grade 10 Academics

Grade 10 is the final year in the Middle Years Programme and the leadership opportunities are plentiful, including club leadership and mentorship opportunities for younger students. Students in Grade 10 take a Learning Strategies course, which includes time to work on the MYP Personal Project.

As a new Grade 10 student, there are some course choices to be made. These include selections in your additional Language pathway (Spanish, Latin, Mandarin or French), a Social Science (two Geography options and two History options), and possibly an additional elective depending on your Math pathway.

Please take the time to review all course descriptions and choose the courses which excite you or pique your curiosity. Our Admissions Team is eager to work with you, should you have any questions.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.*

*The Land Acknowledgement may evolve as we honour our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation in partnership with Indigenous communities.

Setting the new standard for girls' education everywhere takes collective action. From all of us.
