Karen CORDES Woods'99
A Branksome Hall alum, Karen joined the Board of Governors in 2017 and has served on multiple committees including audit, governance and strategy. She has also served as the President of the Alum Association. Karen is Vice President, Personalization and Client Enablement at Scotiabank where she has worked for more than 15 years, holding a variety of roles across Capital Markets, Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking and Operations. She was also Vice President, Sales, Service and Operations at Tangerine Bank, a subsidiary of Scotiabank. Karen received a Master’s degree in Economics from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of King's College and Dalhousie University in Halifax. She lives in Toronto with her husband and their two daughters.
