Everyone can agree that hospital gowns deserve a redesign for improved comfort and dignity. Enter former lawyer Jackie Moss, who switched from a successful career—leading human resources, legal and corporate development functions at CIBC—to become an award-winning entrepreneur. Giftgowns was inspired by Moss’ own long hospital stay, where she recuperated wearing a traditional hospital gown. The company has been featured in Forbes, Oprah, GQ and People and the gowns sell online, in hospital gift shops across North America.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.
