It all began one rainy morning, sirens flashing, children screaming, yells of help, then
nothing. Relaxing nothing, the type of nothing you feel when you're sitting on the couch with a
warm blanket, sipping hot chocolate. For once in my life I felt nothing, no over thinking, no bad
or good thoughts, just nothing. It was a peaceful feeling, like I was floating on a cloud. I could
finally relax, sleep properly for a little, but then terrible noises filled my ears. More sirens,
screams and yelling. I felt a sharp pain hit my stomach again and again. Then I heard a familiar voice but it wasn’t comforting, more like a wail. I opened my eyes a little just so I could see, when it hit me again, I felt as though I was being stabbed, so I turned to the side trying to ignore the pain. “Selena, Selena, Selena ” she yelled my name or at least one that I thought I
recognized. I never saw the lady standing in front of me. I wondered where I was, I did not
recognize anything or anyone so I did not respond but instead ached in pain, as I felt I was
being stabbed in my chest. Then my eyes fell closed as I felt someone lift me up, I was shaking cold but then I heard someone else, who had the type of voice that would send shivers down your spine. It was deep, the kind of voice you hear in horror movies, as I heard the wind pick up, a whisper met my ear. “I’m coming for you”, it was words I never thought I would hear, I opened my eyes to see who it was but no one was there.
