Centre for Strategic Leadership

Welcome

The Centre for Strategic Leadership (CSL) at Branksome Hall was founded on the belief that a school is the sum total of the talent of its people and that leadership skills can be intentionally developed. The first centre of its kind at a JK-Grade 12 school in Canada, the CSL provides Branksome employees with a range of leadership programs to assist them in identifying their paths to personal and professional leadership development.

Inspired by the school’s strategic priority to invest in the growth, development and retention of our employees, the CSL takes a strength-based approach and uses values-driven practices to uplift teams and build school-wide leadership capacity. The CSL builds alignment with, and accountability for, the delivery of the school’s mission, strategy and its commitment to social-emotional learning (SEL) and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Innovation.

The Arts team has a lot of growth coming and will really be relying on the CSL to help us with visioning how we want to innovate and where we want to go.

One of the key takeaways I had at the Conversation Series was the concept of adult development—and that gave me the room to be wrong sometimes.
