Middle Years Programme Features

Global Mindedness
One of the key features of the MYP is building global mindedness by challenging assumptions and broadening perspectives. Students learn to appreciate and seek out divergent viewpoints, preparing them to be responsible citizens of the world.

Personal Project
In their final year of the MYP, Grade 10 students complete the Personal Project, a self-directed inquiry that allows each individual to pursue a personal passion using the knowledge and skills they have learned throughout their MYP years. A true culmination of the MYP, the Personal Project is an impressive achievement, celebrated by the Branksome community at our annual Showcase.

Interdisciplinary Learning
A highlight of the MYP at Branksome Hall is interdisciplinary learning. Each year, students participate in Interdisciplinary Units, bridging content and skills from two or more subject areas to create new understanding.
Development of the Whole Girl
Branksome's Middle Years Programme builds skills, confidence and global perspectives for success.
