Annual fund

What is the annual fund?

The Annual Fund touches every aspect of school life and provides for: curriculum development, financial assistance, Athletics programs and Arts resources. It is pivotal to Branksome’s excellence as reflected by our three Funding Priorities.

FUNDING PRIORITIES

Karen L. Jurjevich Innovation Centre and Studio Theatre (iCAST)

An unprecedented 34,458 square-foot space, combining the Arts and STEM. The first of its kind in Canada in the JK-12 space.

Combining STEM and the Arts for new solutions is the language of success in tomorrow’s entrepreneurial-driven workplace. iCAST and the skills it will nurture will help Branksome students stand out to both universities and employers. Already, iCAST and our graduates are creating buzz with university admissions teams. Just imagine what’s in store once it opens!

Opportunity Fund

This vital fund helps us respond quickly to our ever-evolving, highest-priority needs to enrich the learning environment for our students by supporting curricular and co-curricular programming.

Recent projects, all of which contribute to a learning environment that distinguishes our opportunities and sets our students ahead, include:

  • Supporting Noodle, our signature business incubator;
  • Supporting our world-renowned debating and public speaking program with recent top finishes at the World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships (Worlds);
  • Supporting our popular Model UN Club;
  • Funding for collaboration with Red Sky, a leading Canadian dance company;
  • Funding for off-campus performance space for student plays; and
  • Supporting our rowers and athletes.

Financial Assistance

Removing financial barriers to provide talented students access to a Branksome Hall education, regardless of their economic situation.

Financial Assistance amplifies our commitment to open our doors to diverse and promising students, enriching the learning environment for all with a range of perspectives and talents.

“Through my entire Branksome journey, I was constantly reminded of how fortunate I was to be part of a community that believes in the power of education and the potential of its students. Your generosity allowed me to dream bigger and grow stronger. I will never forget the impact you’ve had on my life, and I hope that one day I can support others in the same way.” — Frogh Azizi Arab’25

More Ways to Give

A group of people stands and sits in a modern, bright room with large windows displaying colorful decals. The space has minimalistic furniture and a wall of donor names. One person reads a sign near the entrance.

Name a Stepping Stone

Step into this rare opportunity to leave your mark. The Stepping Stone Donor Wall will be a prominent architectural feature in iCAST’s main lobby. It’s time to reimagine the traditional donor wall and honour our community of generous iCAST supporters who chose to invest in the school’s vision for girls’ education in a beautiful way.

Make a Transformational Impact

Gifts ranging from $25,000 to seven figures can be paid over time, typically between three to five years. This size of gift provides tax advantages, and depending on the level, donors can receive personalized recognition, including an opportunity to name a space within iCAST. It is a meaningful and impactful way to leave a permanent legacy.
