Mini Creators
Our mini arts-focused camp will give our youngest campers the opportunity to explore their creativity through different kinds of visual and creative arts!
What is the Mini Creators Camp?
Programming in this camp will introduce campers to the basics of art and provide many different mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture and more. Campers will have structured time to work on their creations as well as time to explore their creativity on their own. This camp is open to all genders who are interested in being creative and getting messy! There will also be time each day devoted to camp-style games and active outdoor play, as well as recreational swimming a couple of times throughout the week.
Camp Guide
Dress Code
All campers should be dressed appropriately for an active Camp Program. We recommend running shoes and comfortable clothing that can get dirty. All Mini Campers should bring at least one change of clothes in case of accidents or dirty clothes requiring a change.
Daily Activities
While each camp has a focus, camp-style games and programming will also be incorporated every day, including daily outdoor activities. Please send sunscreen, a hat and water bottle labelled with your camper’s name to camp each day.
Swimming
Mini Campers will have the opportunity to participate in recreational swimming twice per week. Campers should come prepared with a bathing suit and towel on their swim days (a schedule will be sent to registered families). Please note there is no alternative programming available during swim time. All Mini Campers will be required to wear lifejackets (provided by BHDC) while swimming.
Meals
Lunch and a healthy snack are included each day. Please refer to our camp menu for details. You may want to pack extra snacks or alternatives if your camper may not like the lunch or snack options provided.
