Mini Movers
This mini sports-inspired program is the perfect opportunity for active play for your 4 and 5 year old campers!
What is the mini Movers camp?
Campers will engage in a variety of sports-related activities, camp-style games and outdoor play geared towards building their fundamental movement skills: running, throwing, catching, jumping, balancing, skipping and so much more. Campers will have so much fun with our wide range of activities they won’t even realize they’re learning! Recreational swimming is also included a couple of times per week.
Camp Guide
Dress Code
All campers should be dressed appropriately for an active Camp Program. We recommend running shoes and comfortable clothing that can get dirty. All Mini Campers should bring at least one change of clothes in case of accidents or dirty clothes requiring a change.
Daily Activities
While each camp has a focus, camp-style games and programming will also be incorporated every day, including daily outdoor activities. Please send sunscreen, a hat and water bottle labelled with your camper’s name to camp each day.
Swimming
Mini Campers will have the opportunity to participate in recreational swimming twice per week. Campers should come prepared with a bathing suit and towel on their swim days (a schedule will be sent to registered families). Please note there is no alternative programming available during swim time. All Mini Campers will be required to wear lifejackets (provided by BHDC) while swimming.
Meals
Lunch and a healthy snack are included each day. Please refer to our camp menu for details. You may want to pack extra snacks or alternatives if your camper may not like the lunch or snack options provided.
