“We have such a long history with Branksome Hall. My [Ian’s] mother, Jane MORGAN Brooker’37, went to Branksome and so did Gail’s sister, Sue WILLIAMS Beverley’61. So when our daughter, Kimberly [Branksome’s Executive Director of Enrolment Management], told us about the Stepping Stones as a way to commemorate our legacy with the school, we knew it was a perfect way to honour all the generations who benefited from this exceptional institution while supporting the future of girls’ education.

We’re so supportive of Branksome Hall because of how it impacted our daughter. We value this community because it set up Kimberly for a wonderful life. Among the highlights, she was a Clan Chieftain and loved co-curriculars like hockey and the symphony orchestra. The school really encouraged the girls to be the best they could be. Of course, it’s evolved since then, especially its academic standing.

When we attended the Noodle Expo [the tradeshow where Senior & Middle School student entrepreneurs in this business accelerator program show off their ventures] in April, it really blew us away—watching the students build their own businesses and learning about the products they’d developed.

[Our granddaughter] Ashlyn is in JK and she is very outgoing. We know she’s absolutely going to thrive at Branksome, engaged in this wonderful environment and these incredible opportunities.”
