BRONZE STAR

The first of the three Bronze programs is a good introduction to develop swimming proficiency, lifesaving skills and personal fitness principles. Although Bronze Star isn’t a mandatory level for older swimmers (13+), it provides excellent preparation for success in the Bronze Medallion program and provides a fun introduction to lifesaving sport.

Water Smart Education

Candidates refine their stroke mechanics, acquire self-rescue skills, and apply fitness principles in training workouts.

Prerequisite

10-15 years - Swim Patrol experience recommended.
