In 2024, we presented the findings from our Technology-Enhanced Learning research pilot in our Junior School at the American Psychological Association. The study aimed to better understand: (a) how teachers are implementing the use of technology in the classroom; (b) the strengths, challenges and concerns associated with technology; and (c) challenges and opportunities for increasing accessibility and equity. Our analysis used Self-Determination theory and has implications for teacher and student autonomy, competence and relatedness.
