Promoting Positive Mathematical Mindsets

This video discusses our research collaboration on fostering mathematical mindsets in girls. Our findings suggest that Grade 3 is a pivotal time in helping girls develop a positive mathematical mindset around confidence and being able to see themselves as good at math. Likewise, teachers need to feel a high sense of self-efficacy to be able to teach math.
