Our swimming programs are held in Branksome Hall’s beautiful, award-winning Athletics and Wellness Centre, which features two saltwater pools.
Branksome is located on the picturesque urban campus in the heart of Toronto, nestled in the residential neighbourhood of Rosedale. We are within walking distance of public transit and the intersection of Yonge and Bloor street.

Preschool 1
We work to ensure 3 to 5-year-olds become comfortable in the water and have fun acquiring and developing a foundation of water skills.

Branksome Hall is pleased to offer the opportunity for the broader community to join our Lane swims. Registration is required for all of our community swims.

- Swimmer 7-9 (Rookie Patrol, Ranger Patrol and Star Patrol): 60 minutes
- Bronze Star: 60 minutes
- Bronze Medallion: 1 hour 45 min
- Bronze Cross (Assistant Lifeguard): 2 hour 30 min
- Adult 1-3: 45 minutes
- Emergency First Aid: 8 hour total

All participants are required to meet the age requirements by the third week of classes.

- Swimmer 7-9 (Rookie Patrol, Ranger Patrol and Star Patrol): 9+ years
- Branksome Hall Lifesaving Club (BHLC) Junior: 7-10 years
- Branksome Hall Lifesaving Club (BHLC) Youth: 11-14 years
- Bronze Star: 10+ years
- Bronze Medallion: 13+ years (or 11+ with Bronze Star)
- Bronze Cross (Assistant Lifeguard): 13+ years with Bronze Medallion AND Emergency First Aid or Standard First Aid
- Adult 1-3: 16+ years
- Emergency First Aid: 10+ years
