Big conversations. Bold ideas. Student voice at the centre. 💚
Branksome Hall was thrilled to host AISH’s OASIS Day on our Toronto campus, bringing together international school leaders for a high-energy morning of collaboration, innovation and future-focused learning. 🌍
From community-driven design to global insights from Transcend Education and the Big Questions Institute, participants explored powerful new ways to create meaningful, student-centred change. With Branksome Hall students joining the conversation, the dialogue was grounded in real classroom experiences and inspired by what is possible next.
This gathering is more than a conversation about the future of education; it’s a commitment to shaping it together.💡 Thank you to all who joined us, and to The Academy for International School Heads (AISH) for choosing Branksome to host such a fantastic event!

We had a showcase on the historical influences in music to kick off Black History Month with the Black Student Union this afternoon! ✊🏾🎶
We were introduced to this year`s theme of Rhythm and Black, exploring the history of Black music and how it has played a part in inspiring music for decades. With the help of DJ ShySoFly we explored genres from rock and roll to soul to rap to R&B and more. We also discussed the connection to curriculum where students are learning about North American slavery, and how the music which slaves used to tell their stories holds connections to modern day.
We were pleased to host the International Schools Services EDUrecruit® In-Person Job Fair today!
This in-person event brought educators together with international schools in a setting designed for meaningful conversations and career growth.
Thanks to all who joined us today! 💚

What a week, Branksome! 🐸 Grade 2 students took a trip to Harbourfront Centre for a creative movement workshop 💃 and Senior & Middle School students and teachers woke up bright and early for a friendly hockey match on Thursday. Congratulations to the teachers on their big win! 🏒 The U12 volleyball team was also delighted to take a bus trip to Oakville for an action-packed game. 🏐
Branksome held its very first Business Case Competition, organized by Grade 11 students Maya and Olivia! We were delighted to host students from four other COSSOT schools, and welcomed alum judges who graciously moderated the competition. Congrats to all involved! 📈👏

“While the facility is cutting-edge, the building itself doesn’t make us innovative. It’s the teachers—and the expertise—and the equipment that bring learning to life.”
Watch Megan McKellar, Director of Curriculum & Innovation (K–12) chat about iCAST’s impact and why equipment matters in a recent episode of Grace McCallum’s PrincipalED Podcast, spotlighting Branksome`s Innovation Team.
It`s easy to put cutting-edge tools into students’ hands through the iCAST Equipment Fund. By choosing the equipment you want to support, you help power iCAST with the tools that inspire creativity, confidence and bold thinking in every Branksome girl.
Learn more about the Equipment Fund at link in bio.
