Branksome Hall
Meet Audry
- Junior School

From the classroom to the golf course, Audrey is swinging with purpose.
Audrey is a passionate Grade 5 student at Branksome Hall and a rising star in the world of golf. What began as a fun summer camp experience at age five quickly turned into a serious commitment, and by the time she was seven, Audrey was taking professional lessons and competing in tournaments. Her dedication has already earned her impressive results, including a top-12 finish at the prestigious IMG World Championships in San Diego. “It was really hot, but I stayed focused and played my best,” she says with pride. Branksome has been a strong supporter of Audrey’s golf journey, offering the flexibility and encouragement she needs to balance her athletic schedule with her academic life.
My teachers help me find time to catch up on work if I’m away for tournaments, and they’re always cheering me on.
Beyond the golf course, Audrey is a thriving member of the Branksome community. She loves the friendships she’s built and the strong sense of belonging she feels at school.
Everyone is really supportive here,” she says. “I feel like I can always be myself.
One of her proudest school moments so far was being chosen to speak at the Children’s Reconciliation Assembly in Grade 4, her first time presenting at an all-school event. She credits the IB curriculum with helping her grow as both a student and a leader, pushing her to stay curious, reflective and engaged. “The IB always encourages me to be the best version of myself,” she says.
Looking ahead to Grade 6, Audrey is excited about new leadership opportunities and becoming more involved in the school community. She's especially looking forward to working in the new iCAST building, where she hopes to explore hands-on projects that challenge her creativity. Whether she’s on the green or in the classroom, Audrey approaches everything with focus, optimism and a drive to grow. “Branksome has helped me find confidence in myself, on and off the golf course,” she says.
