She built a home away from home, and a voice that reaches far beyond it.

For Titoluwa, a current Boarding student at Branksome Hall, the sense of community and belonging is what truly sets the school apart. Now finishing her second year, Titoluwa describes Boarding life as transformative:

I’ve gained so much independence here, from doing my own laundry to grocery shopping and managing my schedule, it’s really helped me grow up in a way most people my age don’t get to.

She also loves the tight-knit atmosphere of the Boarding program and the friendships she’s built with peers from around the world. “Boarding at Branksome means you're never alone. You're part of something bigger.”

Outside of the classroom, Titoluwa dives into every opportunity Branksome has to offer. From weekend sewing projects to visiting the CN Tower and Toronto Islands with friends, she embraces the vibrant life that comes with living in downtown Toronto. “There’s never a dull moment,” she shares. “There’s always something new, like visiting Arcadia Earth or making wind turbines during our two-week trip to South Korea, where we were able to visit our sister school on Jeju Island.” As a Boarding student, Titoluwa says these global experiences, combined with the diversity of her peers, have helped her become more open-minded, confident and globally aware.

At Branksome, Titoluwa is a leader in several areas. She’s the Director of Marketing for the World Affairs Conference (WAC), a club head for the yearbook team (Slogan), and an active participant in Model UN. She loves how the school encourages both creativity and critical thinking. Whether she’s creating social media campaigns for WAC, debating at international conferences, or connecting with students across grades as a Student Council grade representative, Titoluwa is proud to be part of a community where students are inspired to lead.

We’re a special bunch at Branksome,” she says. “We’re going to make a difference, so make way for us.
